Somebody supporting another with ketamine addiction
Our sone … 29 went out , came home . I woke to hear my husband raising in voice …. He was woken after hearing crashing around in our son’s room . He opened the door to find him rolling around , shaking and foaming at the mouth . He had clearly just taken a hit of kettamin .. his addiction. We found a large amount in a bag which we discarded of … my heart breaks as I lay here now thinking one day I know I will find him not breathing … I want to have hope I really do but it’s fading . I lay here with tears streaming down my face not knowing what to do … not understanding why people would sell evil drugs to others knowing it could kill them . Not knowing how I can make this better 💔

Heartbreaking. And so frightening to see as well.
I think its the not knowing what to do or feeling powerless that cripples us - especially as a mum 😢

My heart aches for you. I have tears in my eyes. So sorry this awful drug and addiction has such a grip on your son. Try to take an hour at a time, even a day at a time is overwhelming when the situation is like this. Sending strength, you aren’t alone. Are you getting support? It doesn’t take away the pain but might help you to cope xxxx

We don’t have support , only each other and it’s tough . It’s so tough as a parent to watch your child taken from you x

Try and look for local family support services. I also did a course with the Forward Trust. It’s too hard to try and cope on your own. Sending strength x

I am beyond heartbroken , thoughts just running through my mind that he will end up dead one day and we will be the ones to find him . I know there are people out there who support them as addicts but the process is just to long 😢

So sorry 😢 you are going through this, please try and get some help and support, maybe talk to your Doctor even the police, these dealers need to be caught and put away, sending love ❤️

It’s just the worst to go through  as a mother , father and siblings .

Oh my hope your all OK,  there's no support or help anywhere for us parents,  I've given the police the address where mine gets crack from twice,  they've done nothing about it x
