Somebody supporting another with alcohol addiction
My partner went out last night drinking..says he stuck to lager and was home after 4 hours. His mood changed the moment he walked in and then he started been verbally aggressive and laughing at me. Till the point he had me in tears, said some eally horrible things and kept me awake till 1am. His mood today is fine with others but snapping at me, he won't talk and am afraid it's just more then drink here xx

Very sorry to hear you are going through this. Would it help to make an appointment with your GP to tell them you are worried about your partner, about the abusive behaviour and that you are worried it may be a something he is using?

I've tried that and getting pointed in every other direction. I'm at my wits end with it to be honest xx
