Second attempted suicide from my son . I went to his flat it was in squalor. My husband and I Spent 2 days cleaning it bought him new bedding, cloths and food . He promised he needed help he has mental health and alcohol addiction.Said he would go to AA . His doctor did not even see him after his attempt to take his life … the paramedics said he would !!! There is no help for mental health in this country !!
I am back home exhausted after 250 mile drive, called him 24hours after getting home to find him drunk and starting to be rude .
I ended Conversation and promised myself this won’t happen again . Why do we help just to be let down again !! I am out AGAIN!!

I'm in the exactly sane position as you. My so was 39mon Monday an i have been going round and round in circles for 20 years or more. Today I went to my doctors to get signed off work, something I have never done before. Right now it's the longest he's been in this depression and self destruct mode. He's constantly drunk or stoned on weed or the street tablets he gets from low life scum. He cries constantly saying he doesn't care if he lives or dies. It's a continuous worry which takes over your life. It's so selfish of them. I know it's a disease but they have a choice!

Thank you Remi like you I have tried and tried to fix his life and fix him but I fail miserably!! He like your son crys that he needs help I just don’t know what else I can do. My heart is broken and just wish I would not wake up every morning. Having to deal with this is excruciating day after day.
