Support group in Manchester
Somebody supporting another with cannabis addiction
Hi I am reaching out to see if there are any support groups in the Manchester area. My son had adhd, currently not taking g medication as he is no longer doing apprenticeship and is just smoking weed. All communication between us is breaking down as he will not listen to me and can’t see what he is doing is wrong, doesn’t think it is a problem. I’m looking for support groups who can help him get back on track, maybe get into work so he can turn his life around before it is to late

We are sorry to hear this. It is very hard to support if your loved one does not want to be helped or sadly can’t see they have a problem.
If/when they do see they need help & want to reach out for help our Organisations tab (in the Matches screen) may be a starting point.
If you are Manchester based, Eclypse (part of Change Grow Live) may be an option for your son depending on his age (they help under 19s).
