Somebody supporting another with ketamine addiction
I just want to say a big thank you for this app. Some time ago you posted a link, I followed that link and it took me to a website where I was able to find out what support there is with substance misuse/addiction in our area. Yesterday, my son took that huge step and walked Betterway Recovery to start his journey of living a better way of life. It’s early days and he’s got a long way to go but he’s done the hardest part by walking through that door. I myself will now begin my own journey of recovery, not because of substance misuse but because I’m addicted to the addict. I attend my first family support session tonight.

Your words and experience are exactly what we had hoped for when we first created this app - it makes all our efforts so worthwhile and motivates us even more to continue to improve it and reach more people.
And congratulations to your son for taking that first step - my son also said the hardest part was actually walking through the door to his recovery support centre, so understand just how big a moment yesterday was (for you both). Hello, could you please give me the address of the website you mentioned in your email. I am looking for help for my son, but usually wherever l turn there is a long waiting list or the doctors do not answer my emails and phone calls. I feel lost and stuck. Thank u.
